Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise and cloud-based server infrastructure (Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux distributions).
- Implement and monitor security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems to protect sensitive data.
- Configure and troubleshoot network hardware, including switches, routers, and VPNs.
- Develop and execute automated backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure business continuity.
- Provide Tier 3 technical support to internal stakeholders and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Conduct regular system audits and performance tuning to ensure 99.99% uptime.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in System Administration or Network Engineering.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server administration and Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu).
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Knowledge of scripting languages: PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or equivalent certification preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Strong communication skills to translate technical jargon for non-technical stakeholders.
