Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows Server, Linux, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
- Implement and monitor security protocols, firewalls, and access controls
- Perform system upgrades, patch management, and disaster recovery testing
- Diagnose and resolve complex network and system issues
- Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell, Python, or Ansible
- Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD pipeline optimization
- Document system configurations and create technical documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Strong knowledge of virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and containerization
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, AWS Certified SysOps, or equivalent
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, or Datadog)
- Proficient in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours for system maintenance windows
