Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the company’s network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and VPNs, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Configure, deploy, and monitor servers using both Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Implement and manage cybersecurity protocols, including firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems.
- Oversee cloud migration projects and manage resources on AWS and Azure.
- Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and mentor junior system administrators.
- Conduct regular system audits and disaster recovery planning exercises.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in Linux (RHEL, CentOS) and Windows Server administration.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator are highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues under pressure.
