Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Deploy, configure, and maintain Linux and Windows server environments to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Cloud Integration: Manage and optimize AWS and Azure cloud resources, including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, and VPC configurations.
- Security & Compliance: Implement security protocols, conduct vulnerability assessments, and ensure adherence to industry standards (GDPR, HIPAA).
- Network Administration: Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and configure firewalls and VPNs.
- Automation: Develop Python and Bash scripts to automate routine tasks and improve system efficiency.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed technical documentation, runbooks, and incident reports.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar IT role.
- Operating Systems: Proficient in Windows Server (Active Directory) and Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
- Scripting: Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, AWS Solutions Architect, or CCNA are highly preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
