Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) to mitigate threats in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in network architecture.
- Configure and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and incident response plans.
- Perform log analysis and forensic investigations to determine the root cause of security incidents.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement secure coding practices and patch management.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field.
- Active CISSP, CISM, GCIH, or Security+ certification is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, networking protocols, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Experience with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or SOC 2.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting to stakeholders.
