Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and security of on-premise servers and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Cloud Optimization: Architect and manage scalable cloud solutions, ensuring cost-efficiency and high performance.
- Automation & Scripting: Develop and maintain Python/Bash scripts to automate routine tasks, deployment processes, and monitoring.
- Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce security protocols, conduct vulnerability assessments, and manage access controls (Active Directory).
- Incident Response: Lead troubleshooting efforts for critical system failures and coordinate disaster recovery plans.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior system administrators and collaborate with development teams to define technical requirements.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience as a System Administrator or DevOps Engineer in a hybrid environment.
- Operating Systems: Deep expertise in Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server.
- Cloud Knowledge: Strong proficiency with AWS (EC2, S3, VPC) or Azure.
- Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Tools: Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and orchestration tools (Ansible/Terraform).
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
