Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Windows Server, Linux, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
- Implement and maintain Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP services
- Oversee backup systems, disaster recovery, and security protocols
- Automate tasks using PowerShell, Ansible, and Terraform
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios and SolarWinds
- Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD pipeline integration
- Document infrastructure and create runbooks for operational procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of system administration in enterprise environments
- Expertise in Windows Server 2016/2019 and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs)
- Certifications (CompTIA Server+, MCSA, or AWS/Azure) preferred
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and containerization
- Proven troubleshooting skills for complex infrastructure issues
