Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of on-premise and cloud-based servers (AWS, Azure).
- Security & Compliance: Implement and monitor security protocols, perform vulnerability assessments, and ensure adherence to industry standards.
- System Optimization: Proactively monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize resources to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Scripting & Automation: Develop and maintain PowerShell and Bash scripts to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- Active Directory: Manage user accounts, permissions, and Group Policy Objects (GPO) to maintain a secure and organized network.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate technical documentation, including network diagrams and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Operating Systems: Strong proficiency in Windows Server and Linux environments (RHEL/CentOS).
- Cloud Knowledge: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS or Microsoft Azure.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate preferred.
- Scripting: Expert-level knowledge of PowerShell or Python for automation tasks.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
