Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and administration of on-premise servers and cloud-based infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- System Monitoring: Implement and manage monitoring tools to ensure system availability, performance, and security.
- Security Compliance: Enforce security policies, perform vulnerability assessments, and manage firewalls to protect sensitive data.
- Scripting & Automation: Develop scripts (Python, Bash, PowerShell) to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- User Support: Serve as a Tier 2/3 support lead, resolving complex technical issues for internal stakeholders.
- Backup & Recovery: Design and implement robust backup strategies and disaster recovery plans.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
- Operating Systems: Strong proficiency in Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server environments.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or Microsoft Azure Administrator is a plus.
- Networking: In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and network troubleshooting.
- Scripting: Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
