Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust server infrastructure across on-premise data centers and hybrid cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Manage and troubleshoot Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server environments, ensuring 99.9% uptime and high availability.
- Implement and enforce stringent security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection systems, and identity management.
- Automate routine administrative tasks and system maintenance using scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) to improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor system performance metrics and analyze logs to proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact end-users.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan system upgrades, migrations, and capacity planning.
- Conduct regular backups and disaster recovery drills to ensure business continuity.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a System Administrator or in a similar IT infrastructure role.
- Strong proficiency in Linux (RHEL, CentOS) and Windows Server administration.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Deep knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and load balancing.
- Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell are highly preferred.
- CompTIA Security+ or CCNA certification is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
