Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust server infrastructure across Linux and Windows environments
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize network configurations
- Manage cloud environments including AWS, Azure, and hybrid cloud solutions
- Oversee security protocols, patch management, and compliance frameworks (SOX, HIPAA)
- Automate workflows using scripting (Python, PowerShell) and DevOps tools (Ansible, Terraform)
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute system backups/restorations
- Collaborate with development teams to support CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications
- 5+ years in system administration with enterprise-level experience
- Expertise in Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows Server administration
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Certifications in CompTIA Server+, AWS SysOps, or Microsoft Azure preferred
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) and infrastructure automation
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
