Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments across on-premises and AWS/Azure platforms
- Proactively monitor system health using Nagios/Splunk with automated alerting and incident response SLAs
- Manage enterprise-level virtualization (VMware vSphere/KVM) and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Execute secure patch management cycles and compliance audits for SOX/GDPR frameworks
- Lead disaster recovery planning and table-top testing with 99.9% uptime requirements
- Document infrastructure architecture using Visio/Lucidchart and maintain runbooks in Confluence
- Mentor junior admins through our structured onboarding program
Qualifications
- 5+ years administering enterprise Windows Server 2019+ and RHEL/CentOS environments
- Expertise in network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs) with Cisco/Juniper experience
- Proven scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation
- Cloud platform certifications (AWS/Azure) or equivalent hands-on experience
- Strong knowledge of security best practices (firewalls, IDS/IPS, hardening)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with root-cause analysis methodology
- ITIL Foundation certification preferred
