Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex server infrastructure, including Linux and Windows Server environments.
- Oversee network security, firewall configurations, and VPN management to protect company assets.
- Automate routine tasks and system administration processes using scripting languages like Python or Bash.
- Manage cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and ensure seamless integration with on-premise systems.
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute system backups to guarantee business continuity.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware/software issues in real-time.
- Collaborate with development teams to deploy applications and manage CI/CD pipelines.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a System Administrator or Systems Engineer.
- Deep expertise in Windows Server and Linux (Red Hat/CentOS) administration.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and firewall technologies.
- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python) and configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef).
- Experience with cloud services, specifically AWS or Microsoft Azure.
- Relevant certifications (CompTIA Linux+, AWS Certified SysOps, or MCSA) are a plus.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently.
