Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise and cloud-based server infrastructure (Windows Server and Linux).
- Implement and monitor network security protocols, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Perform system backups, recovery procedures, and disaster planning to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues for end-users and internal systems.
- Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash).
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to deploy and manage CI/CD pipelines.
- Conduct regular system audits and compliance checks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 3+ years of professional experience as a System Administrator.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Experience with cloud services (AWS or Azure) is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team setting.
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification is a plus.
