Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust Linux/Windows server environments and cloud infrastructure
- Manage enterprise network security, including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios and Zabbix with proactive optimization
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute system backups/restoration procedures
- Automate administrative tasks using Python/Ansible for operational efficiency
- Collaborate with development teams on CI/CD pipeline integration
- Document system configurations and create comprehensive technical documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience administering enterprise-level Linux/Windows systems
- Expertise in AWS/Azure cloud services and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and security best practices
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/KVM) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- ITIL certification or equivalent IT service management experience
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues under pressure with minimal supervision
