Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Windows/Linux server environments across on-premises and cloud platforms
- Implement robust cybersecurity protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Oversee network infrastructure including VPN, firewalls, and Active Directory
- Deploy and maintain virtualization solutions (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Create automation scripts for routine system maintenance
- Document IT infrastructure and develop disaster recovery plans
- Provide Tier-3 support and mentor junior team members
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years administering Windows Server 2016+ and Linux distributions
- Expertise in Azure/AWS cloud services and hybrid networking
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, or Bash)
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required
- Experience with VMware vSphere and Hyper-V virtualization
- Proven troubleshooting in complex enterprise environments
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
