Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Windows/Linux server environments including Active Directory, VMware, and cloud infrastructure
- Implement cybersecurity protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Oversee backup systems, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex network issues and user escalations
- Automate system tasks using PowerShell, Python, or Ansible
- Document IT infrastructure and maintain accurate configuration records
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on technology initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration
- Expertise in Windows Server 2016/2019 and Linux distributions (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- VMware vSphere certification or equivalent virtualization experience
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure preferred)
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues
- ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent process knowledge
- Excellent communication skills with ability to train non-technical staff
