Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments and cloud infrastructure
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize performance
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network security protocols
- Execute backup/recovery procedures and disaster recovery planning
- Automate administrative tasks using scripting (PowerShell, Python)
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline integration
- Document systems, processes, and security policies
Qualifications
- 5+ years in system administration with Windows Server and Linux experience
- Strong knowledge of Azure/AWS cloud platforms and hybrid architectures
- Expertise in Active Directory, Group Policy, and enterprise security
- Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls)
- Scripting skills (PowerShell, Python) for automation
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification preferred
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and container technologies
