Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk/QRadar) for threat detection and incident response
- Conduct forensic investigations on security breaches and malware incidents
- Implement vulnerability management processes and patch prioritization
- Generate executive-level security dashboards and compliance reports
- Collaborate with IT teams to harden network defenses and access controls
- Develop playbooks for incident response procedures and threat hunting
- Stay current on emerging threats via MITRE ATT&CK framework updates
Qualifications
- 3+ years hands-on cybersecurity experience with SIEM tools
- CompTIA Security+/CISSP/CISA certification required
- Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP) and firewalls
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant/Recorded Future)
- Knowledge of NIST CSF framework and compliance standards
- Strong analytical skills with ability to correlate security events
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Excellent written/verbal communication for stakeholder reporting
