Responsibilities
- Manage Windows/Linux servers, virtualization (VMware), and cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
- Implement and maintain security protocols, backups, and disaster recovery plans
- Optimize system performance and troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues
- Lead cross-functional projects including network upgrades and migrations
- Document procedures and create automation scripts for operational efficiency
- Provide Tier-3 support and mentor junior team members
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and networking fundamentals
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- CCNA/CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proven ability to manage hybrid on-premises/cloud environments
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
