Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize Linux/Windows server environments supporting 50k+ users
- Manage AWS/Azure infrastructure including VPCs, load balancers, and auto-scaling groups
- Lead incident response for critical outages with <15-minute SLA
- Automate provisioning using Ansible/Terraform with CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor system health via Prometheus/Grafana dashboards
- Implement security protocols (SOC2, HIPAA) and vulnerability management
- Document architecture and troubleshoot complex multi-tier applications
Qualifications
- 5+ years administering enterprise Linux/Windows environments
- Expertise in AWS/Azure with professional certifications (AWS/Azure SA)
- Advanced scripting (Python/Bash) and automation experience
- Strong network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
- Proven incident management and disaster recovery leadership
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
- CI/CD pipeline implementation (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent experience
