Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server infrastructure and virtualization environments (VMware/Proxmox)
- Manage cloud services (AWS/Azure) including IAM, VPC, and S3 configurations
- Oversee network security protocols (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS) and ensure compliance with NIST standards
- Automate routine tasks using PowerShell/Python and CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios/Zabbix and proactively resolve issues
- Document infrastructure changes and maintain disaster recovery plans
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on container orchestration (Kubernetes/Docker)
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise-level system administration experience
- Expertise in Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
- Certifications (CompTIA Server+, AWS SysOps, or equivalent) required
- Experience with scripting (PowerShell/Python/Bash) for automation
- Proficient in virtualization and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
