Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise and cloud-based servers (Windows Server and Linux environments).
- Configure and troubleshoot complex network infrastructure including firewalls, switches, and VPNs.
- Implement and monitor security measures to protect organizational data against cyber threats.
- Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
- Lead and mentor junior IT staff, conducting code reviews and providing technical guidance.
- Ensure 24/7 system availability and perform regular system backups and disaster recovery drills.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy software updates and hardware upgrades.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar IT role.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft Exchange/Office 365.
- Proficiency in Linux administration (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- CompTIA Security+ or higher certification preferred.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
