Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and optimize cloud-based infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and on-premise systems
- Implement robust security protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Automate system monitoring, backups, and disaster recovery procedures
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines
- Manage virtualization environments (VMware/Hyper-V) and container orchestration
- Provide Tier-3 support and troubleshoot critical system issues
- Document infrastructure configurations and maintain compliance standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years administering Windows Server and Linux environments
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise networking
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- AWS/Azure certification and cloud architecture experience
- Proven experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Datadog)
- ITIL foundation certification preferred
