Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments across hybrid cloud infrastructure
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity protocols including firewalls, intrusion detection, and access controls
- Automate system administration tasks using PowerShell, Python, and Ansible
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Provide Tier-3 support for network, storage, and application issues
- Develop disaster recovery plans and conduct regular backup testing
- Document system configurations and create technical SOPs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on system administration experience
- Expertise in Windows Server 2019+ and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and hybrid networking
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, AWS SysOps, or Microsoft Azure Administrator preferred
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix) and scripting languages
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
