Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows Server and Linux environments including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
- Manage cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure with emphasis on security best practices and cost optimization
- Proactively monitor system health using tools like Nagios, Zabbix, and SolarWinds to prevent downtime
- Execute disaster recovery procedures and conduct regular backups with RTO/RPO compliance
- Automate routine tasks using PowerShell, Python, or Ansible scripts
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline integration and infrastructure-as-code
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex system issues and document all procedures
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration with Windows Server 2016+ and RHEL/CentOS
- Expert-level knowledge of AWS/Azure services including EC2, S3, VPC, and Azure AD
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, MCSE: Core Infrastructure, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python) and experience with configuration management tools
- Deep understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls) and security protocols
- Experience with virtualization (VMware vSphere/Hyper-V) and container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across hybrid environments and communicate technical concepts clearly
