Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows Server and Linux environments
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network infrastructure
- Monitor system performance using tools like SolarWinds and Nagios
- Execute security protocols including patch management and vulnerability assessments
- Provide Level 3 support for complex system outages and incidents
- Document IT processes and create disaster recovery plans
- Collaborate with cloud teams on hybrid cloud integrations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Windows Server administration (2016/2019)
- Strong Linux administration skills (RHEL/CentOS preferred)
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware vSphere/Hyper-V)
- CCNA or equivalent network certification required
- Experience with Azure or AWS cloud services
- Knowledge of scripting (PowerShell/Python/Bash)
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent security certification
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotation
