Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Linux/Windows server environments in AWS and on-premises infrastructure
- Implement automation tools (Ansible, Terraform) for provisioning and configuration management
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios and Splunk, ensuring 99.9% uptime
- Lead security initiatives including patch management, vulnerability assessments, and compliance audits
- Design and implement disaster recovery solutions with RTO/RPO metrics
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
- Document system architecture and create runbooks for operational procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (5+ years experience accepted)
- Expert proficiency in Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows Server administration
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and automation experience
- AWS/Azure certification with hands-on experience in cloud services
- Proven track record in network troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration
- Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) and alerting frameworks
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work under pressure
