Key Responsibilities
Upon completion of the training program, you will be responsible for:
- Monitoring SIEM systems and security alerts for suspicious activity or intrusions.
- Conducting daily vulnerability scans and configuring firewall rules to protect organizational assets.
- Responding to and investigating security incidents in accordance with incident response protocols.
- Performing threat hunting to identify potential threats before they cause damage.
- Documenting security events and maintaining detailed logs for auditing purposes.
- Collaborating with the IT team to ensure compliance with internal security policies and external regulations.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with a strong desire to learn and grow. The ideal candidate possesses:
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- A basic understanding of computer networks, TCP/IP, and operating systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A willingness to obtain and maintain relevant security certifications.
- U.S. Citizenship is required for certain government contracts.
