What You'll Do:
Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and technical specifications.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) and communicate issues clearly to the development team.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing to ensure software stability and performance.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand system architecture and refine testing strategies.
- Maintain documentation of testing processes, results, and metrics to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stay updated with the latest testing methodologies, tools, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a QA Tester or Software Test Engineer (minimum 3 years).
- Strong proficiency in manual testing and experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium) is a plus.
- Familiarity with SQL and RESTful APIs for data validation and API testing.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
