Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments with virtualization (VMware/KVM)
- Monitor and optimize network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Nagios
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP across multi-location deployments
- Execute disaster recovery plans and conduct quarterly DR drills
- Automate provisioning using Ansible and PowerShell scripting
- Collaborate with cloud teams on AWS/Azure integration projects
- Document SOPs and maintain configuration management in Git
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (5+ years)
- Expertise in Windows Server 2019/2022 and Red Hat/CentOS Linux
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and IaaS/PaaS services
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
- Ability to work rotating on-call shifts
