Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) for real-time threat detection and incident response
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on cloud/on-premises systems
- Develop and execute playbooks for ransomware, APT, and DDoS attack scenarios
- Collaborate with DevSecOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Generate executive-level security dashboards and compliance reports (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Mentor junior analysts and conduct quarterly threat simulation exercises
Qualifications
- 3+ years in SOC operations with hands-on experience in threat hunting
- CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Expertise in network security tools (FireEye, CrowdStrike, Palo Alto)
- Proficiency in Python/PowerShell for automation scripting
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure GCP) and containerized environments
- Strong understanding of zero-trust architecture and identity management
- Ability to maintain composure during high-pressure incident responses
