Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Windows Server and Linux environments across hybrid cloud infrastructure
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls
- Proactively monitor system performance using tools like Nagios and Zabbix
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute system backups/restoration
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployment pipelines using Ansible and Terraform
- Document IT processes and create knowledge base articles for team reference
- Provide Tier-3 technical support and mentor junior administrators
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in system administration with Windows Server and Linux
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Strong understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs)
- Certifications (CompTIA Server+, Linux+, or MCSA preferred)
- Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Bash) and automation tools
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
