Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions using AWS and on-premise technologies
- Manage and optimize Linux/Windows Server environments for peak performance
- Lead security initiatives including vulnerability assessments and compliance audits
- Develop automation solutions using Ansible, Terraform, and PowerShell
- Provide Tier-3 support and incident response for critical systems
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines
- Document system architectures and operational procedures
- Mentor junior administrators and conduct technology training sessions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience
- Expert proficiency in Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows Server 2019+
- Deep knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, load balancers)
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM)
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, and PowerShell
- Security certifications (CISSP, Security+, or equivalent)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V)
- Proven ability to manage complex infrastructure projects
