Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux (Ubuntu/CentOS) environments
- Implement and monitor cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure with Terraform
- Oversee Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy deployment
- Ensure 99.9% uptime through proactive monitoring (SolarWinds/Nagios)
- Execute disaster recovery tests and backup strategy optimization
- Document SOPs and create technical runbooks for team knowledge base
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Windows/Linux system administration experience
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) with hands-on implementation
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+ or equivalent (AWS/Azure certs preferred)
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell/Bash) and automation experience
- Knowledge of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker)
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs for hardware maintenance
