Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments and virtualization platforms
- Manage Azure/AWS cloud infrastructure including VMs, storage, and networking
- Oversee security protocols, patch management, and compliance frameworks
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios and Zabbix
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execution
- Document procedures and create knowledge base articles
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in system administration with enterprise environments
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell/Bash/Python)
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, Azure Administrator, or AWS SysOps
- Experience with VMware vSphere and Hyper-V
- Proven troubleshooting skills for complex network issues
