Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows/Linux servers and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
- Implement robust network security protocols and monitor system vulnerabilities
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise backup solutions
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex system outages and performance tuning
- Document IT processes and maintain system documentation
- Collaborate with DevOps on automation using PowerShell/Python
- Ensure compliance with SOC 2 and HIPAA security standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on system administration experience in enterprise environments
- Expertise in Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Strong knowledge of virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and container technologies
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+ or Microsoft Azure Administrator preferred
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix) and scripting languages
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network and system issues
- Familiarity with ITIL best practices and change management
