Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows Server, Linux, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
- Implement cybersecurity protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Oversee network infrastructure including firewalls, VPNs, and switches
- Automate system administration tasks using PowerShell/Python/Bash
- Provide Tier 3 support and lead incident response procedures
- Document IT policies, procedures, and infrastructure diagrams
- Coordinate hardware/software deployments and migrations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience
- Expert-level proficiency with Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP
- Strong knowledge of virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and container technologies
- Certifications in CompTIA Server+, Linux+, or Microsoft Azure preferred
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds)
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
