Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize on-premise and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) including servers, storage, and networking
- Implement and maintain security protocols (firewalls, encryption, access controls) to protect company assets
- Automate deployment and monitoring using tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Nagios
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex system issues and document solutions
- Collaborate on disaster recovery planning and execute regular drills
- Monitor system performance and recommend upgrades for scalability
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Windows/Linux system administration
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms
- Certifications (CompTIA Server+, AWS Certified SysOps, or equivalent)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code
- Excellent troubleshooting skills for complex network/OS issues
- Ability to manage projects and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
