Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Senior System Administrator to join our dynamic IT team in Philadelphia. In this role, you will be the guardian of our enterprise infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance of our critical systems. You will lead technical initiatives that modernize our environment and support the growth of our diverse client base.

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Manage Windows Server and Linux environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and file services.
- Configure and troubleshoot network devices, VPNs, and firewalls.
- Ensure data integrity through regular backups, disaster recovery planning, and testing.
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and mentor junior system administrators.
- Enforce security best practices and compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA).
- Automate routine tasks using scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux administration.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or Azure Administrator.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
