Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments across hybrid cloud infrastructure
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure 99.9% uptime
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network security protocols
- Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell and scripting tools
- Oversee backup/recovery procedures and disaster planning initiatives
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline integration
- Document system configurations and maintain compliance standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on system administration experience in enterprise environments
- Expertise in Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux (RHEL/CentOS)
- Strong knowledge of virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Certifications (CompTIA Server+, MCSA, or Linux+) preferred
- Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, or Ansible for automation
- Experience with monitoring tools like Nagios, Zabbix, or SolarWinds
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
