Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust server infrastructure including virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize network configurations
- Manage enterprise-level security protocols, including firewalls, encryption, and access controls
- Oversee backup/recovery systems and ensure business continuity compliance
- Automate workflows using scripting (PowerShell/Python) and configuration management tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT solutions with business objectives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Windows Server and Linux administration
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise networking
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and hybrid architectures
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, SolarWinds) and ITIL practices
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
