Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct threat hunting and incident response for malware/ransomware attacks
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop security automation scripts using Python or PowerShell
- Collaborate with IT teams on security architecture improvements
- Create executive-level security incident reports
- Stay current on emerging threats via threat intelligence feeds
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years in security operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Experience with NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Proficiency in network protocols and firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet)
