Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) for real-time threat detection and incident triage
- Conduct forensic investigations of security breaches using tools like Wireshark and EnCase
- Develop and maintain security documentation including playbooks and runbooks
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement vulnerability patching and hardening measures
- Perform penetration testing and risk assessments on cloud and on-premise systems
- Generate executive-level security reports and compliance documentation
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity with hands-on SIEM experience
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification (or equivalent)
- Expert knowledge of NIST frameworks and ISO 27001 standards
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network protocols
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
