Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize on-premises and cloud infrastructure including AWS, Azure, and hybrid environments
- Implement robust security protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO 27001, NIST)
- Proactively monitor system health using tools like Nagios, Zabbix, and SolarWinds
- Design and execute disaster recovery plans with RTO/RPO targets
- Lead server migrations, virtualization projects (VMware, Hyper-V), and automation initiatives
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex system issues and mentor junior administrators
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration with Windows Server and Linux environments
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise networking
- Certifications in AWS/Azure, CompTIA Server+, or VMware preferred
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines
- Proven ability to document complex systems and create SOPs
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
