Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments across on-premises and AWS/Azure platforms
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN infrastructure with 99.9% uptime SLAs
- Automate deployment and monitoring using Ansible, Terraform, and PowerShell
- Lead cybersecurity initiatives including patch management, vulnerability scanning, and compliance audits
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex system incidents and disaster recovery scenarios
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
- Document architecture changes and create technical runbooks for operational excellence
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (5+ years experience accepted)
- Expert-level proficiency with Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation
- Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure) with hands-on experience in VPC, IAM, and security groups
- Deep knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs, firewalls)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Datadog)
- Proven track record in managing enterprise-scale infrastructure
- Excellent problem-solving and cross-functional communication skills
