Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows Server 2019/2022, Linux (RHEL/CentOS), and VMware ESXi environments
- Design, implement, and monitor cloud infrastructure on AWS (EC2, S3, VPC)
- Automate system tasks using PowerShell, Python, and Ansible
- Oversee network security including firewalls (Fortinet), VPNs, and access control
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex system outages and performance optimization
- Document infrastructure changes using ITIL-compliant processes
- Lead disaster recovery planning and testing initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years in enterprise system administration with hybrid cloud experience
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell/Python) for automation
- AWS/Azure certifications (SAA/AZ-104) preferred
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Datadog)
- CCNA or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Excellent troubleshooting skills for complex multi-layered issues
- Ability to work on-call rotation and occasional off-hours maintenance
