Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments
- Oversee cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and hybrid networking solutions
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN configurations
- Implement robust backup/recovery and disaster recovery plans
- Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios and SolarWinds
- Lead security hardening and vulnerability management initiatives
- Document IT procedures and create technical documentation
- Provide tier-3 support and mentor junior IT staff
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience
- Expertise in Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Strong knowledge of AWS/Azure services and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
- CCNA/CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent
- Advanced scripting skills (PowerShell/Bash/Python)
- Experience with enterprise backup solutions (Veeam/Commvault)
- Deep understanding of network security principles and compliance frameworks
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex system issues under pressure
