Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable Windows Server and Linux infrastructure across hybrid cloud environments
- Proactively monitor system performance using tools like Nagios and Zabbix to prevent downtime
- Execute security protocols including vulnerability assessments, patch management, and compliance audits
- Automate deployment processes using Ansible and Terraform for efficiency
- Lead disaster recovery planning and incident response for 24/7 critical systems
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration
- Document infrastructure architecture and create operational runbooks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (5+ years in system administration)
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise networking (Cisco/Juniper)
- Advanced certifications: AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or Azure Administrator
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation
- Experience with enterprise backup solutions (Veeam, Commvault)
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, CIS)
- Ability to manage complex projects with competing priorities
