Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust server infrastructure including Windows Server and Linux environments
- Manage cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and hybrid cloud configurations
- Oversee network security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
- Automate system monitoring and troubleshooting using tools like Ansible and Terraform
- Provide Tier-3 support and lead disaster recovery initiatives
- Optimize system performance and ensure 99.9% uptime across all environments
- Document processes and create technical SOPs for team scalability
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in system administration with Windows Server and Linux
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and hybrid cloud architecture
- Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Certifications (CompTIA Server+, AWS Certified SysOps Admin, or MCSE) preferred
- Proficient in scripting (Python, PowerShell) and automation tools
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
